BRAZIL IN THE 21st CENTURY
THE LARGEST BRAZIL TECH-RELATED EVENT
For the past five years, BayBrazil has organized this annual event to bring together entrepreneurs, investors, government representatives and private-sector leaders to discuss innovation, technology, entrepreneurship and the country’s role in the global economy.
The conference, held at Stanford University in its earlier editions and at Google in 2016, has been getting greater traction each year due to the growth of BayBrazil’s tech hub and the increasing business relations between Silicon Valley and Brazil. Today it is the largest Brazil-tech related event outside Brazil, attracting about 300 people every year, receiving notable support from the local community as well as the Consulate General of Brazil in SF. Remarks from Ambassador Prisco Ramos on event’s relevance.
The latest 2016 edition, held at Google headquarters in Mountain View, featured 23 speakers and 300 attendees from various U.S. and Brazil regions.
The 2017 agenda will include panels and keynotes on topics such as The Future of IoT, The Brazilian investment market and Destination Brazil panel highlighting leading U.S. firms operating in Brazil.
Guest speakers will include tech founders, investors, C & V-levels leaders and entrepreneurs who represent companies that are succeeding in Brazil and abroad despite the country’s economic and political crisis.
